Tuition programmes to help your little one get ready for school
If your 3-4-year old is starting school soon, then our exciting and fun 10-week programme (5 consecutive days over the Summer) is for them. Our Get Ready For School programme runs for 10-weeks starting in January, April and we have a 5 consecutive days summer programme in August.
Term Time Programme :
- The areas we focus on are phonics (letter sounds), graphemes (letter recognition and formation), early maths concepts and number work, fine motor skills, early reading and spelling, name writing, listening and following instructions, and much more.
- Apart from learning early Maths and English they also learn to be independent and important skills like sitting and listening, taking turns, sharing, all important for starting school.
- The session is 1 hour and 15 minutes and will consist of some group work (no more than 4 in a group) and some tailor-made individual work.
- Costs are £280 for the 10 weeks and can be paid with childcare vouchers and HMRC tax free childcare.
- Each 10 week course is different. If your child attends in January they can also attend a follow up course in April.
- The GRFS course is non-refundable 7 days before the start date of the course.
Summer Programme:
These 5 day courses will focus on early English and Maths skills as well as skills to make children school ready such as following instructions, turn taking, listening to others and sharing. These courses are suitable for all 3-4 year olds starting school this September. The course is tailor made to meet the needs of each child at whatever stage they are at and would therefore be beneficial for all children, even if the child has previously completed a term time course. Sessions are for 1 hour Mon-Fri and cost £140.
